The German job market

An English job ad isn't always English-friendly.

A job description can be written in English and still require fluent German. Berjobs checks the actual requirements before recommending it to you.

Every match, explained

Not just a keyword match.

Berjobs looks at the whole picture before deciding whether a job deserves your attention.

Every match says why it fits — and what's worth knowing before you apply. When something isn't stated in the posting, like visa sponsorship, we say so instead of guessing.

FAQ

Questions

Are all jobs in English?

We focus on jobs in Germany where English is the working language or German isn't essential. Berjobs reads each posting's actual language requirements — a job advertised in English that requires fluent German won't be sent to someone without it.

Where do the jobs come from?

From company career pages and the hiring systems companies use to publish them. We don't cover every employer in Germany, and we're adding more over time. Every job links to the official application page.

Do I apply through Berjobs?

No. You apply directly with the employer on their own site. Berjobs isn't a recruiter and never sits between you and the company.

Do I need to speak German?

Not necessarily. You tell us your German level, and we only match you with jobs that fit it. If you do speak German, you'll also see roles where German is preferred.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Both get the same matching. Free sends your best new matches in a weekly digest every Monday. Pro sends them in a daily digest every morning, so you hear about new jobs days sooner and can apply earlier.

Your next job might already be out there.

You don't have to keep looking for it.
